My family of 8 really enjoyed the view of the ocean. The furnishings are just as pictured. Some things to make note of: No beach towels are provided. There are no shades/blinds to block out the sun.

We loved everything about this stay. The rental is clean, well-equipped with all possible necessities, and it’s decorated beautifully. We enjoyed peaceful moments watching dolphins from the balconies, and it was easy to set up on the beach for a day of sun and return inside for quick meals since it is just steps from the ocean. The rental’s central location on SGI makes it an easy walk to coffee, donuts, groceries, shopping, or meals at several of our favorite restaurants.

Our stay in Ocean Breeze was perfect! Comfortable, CLEAN, well appointed, great air conditioning, and so easy to get to beach.

The proximity to great shops and restaurants makes it even better! The view from both balconies is amazing and the easy access to the ocean, pool and shops/food make this the ideal vacation spot!! My teenage boys asked if we could come back here next year, so if they approve, it’s definitely a win in my book!!

Home was exactly as described. Very clean, kitchen well stocked, master bed very comfortable and only steps from the beach!!! Definitely 10 out of 10!!

We had a wonderful stay at SGI. The only 2 things I would recommend is fixing the water pressure in the master shower and putting some taller tables out on the balcony so one could eat outside.

The unit we rented was perfect. It was clean, cute and was a perfect location to everything we wanted. The view was incredible! Zero complaints!

We had a nice stay at Ocean Breeze. The furniture, including the master bed, is very comfortable, and the condo was clean. The decks are private and we didn't hear noise from the next door neighbors. It is located within walking distance to the restaurants and shops on SGI. The community pool looked clean and inviting, but it isn't heated. My only complaint was the lack of supplies in the house. I understand that they provide only a starter pack of hand soap or paper towels. But there was no laundry soap or even dishwasher soap in the condo. We ended up supplying the next guests with supplies we had to leave behind. Not a huge deal, but the other places we stayed in FL did a better job of providing the basic necessities.

Location was wondering for dining and beach. Would suggest a mirror on lower level for sunscreen and checking hair going out the door.

We had a great time soaking up the sun on a beautiful area of Florida. The beach wasn’t crowded and easy evening walks to our favorite restaurants. The condo has a well stocked kitchen for preparing family meals. The furnishings were very well maintained and comfortable.

This was our first visit to SGI and we would love to return! Sea2Ski was beautiful home. A few more updates would be good (kitchen, bathrooms), but overall quite nice. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable! The house was clean. The house feels private & secluded, separated from neighbors by vegetation. It is about a 5 minute walk (depending how fast you can walk) to the beach by sandy path or road. Either way, watch your step. We saw 3 snakes. We visited in July and there was one family to either side of us on the beach all week! Went to one of the 2 pools and had it to ourselves for a couple of hours one morning! We would definitely stay here again. SGI now has a piece of our hearts!!

This is our second year staying in this home, and it's fabulous. The owners have taken time and been thoughtful about everything from decor to items in the kitchen. We're looking forward to year three in '25 at Sea2Ski!

We really enjoyed the upgrades the new owners made to this property as this was our 2nd time staying in this house (i.e. floors, appliances, and furniture). The only small issues were lack of skillets for cooking and the TV in the upstairs bedroom (double bed) did not connect to the internet and was unusable. Otherwise, the additional beach towels, outdoor shower, and grill were really nice extras and highly recommend this house to anyone who enjoy additional amenities like two community pools, fitness center, pickle ball/tennis courts!

We had am amazing time at Sea2Ski. The new updates were incredible! We had five, including three college-age children and still had plenty of space. It was a easy walk to the beach and there was always space available, which was a nice contrast to the public beaches at SGI. The property managers were great to work with and went above and beyond to see that we had everything we needed. We can't wait to go back.

Thanks to a new rental company on the island who made our former favorite house no longer affordable, we've found an even better favorite! This house is well decorated, has everything you need (maybe add a plastic pitcher or two), and CLEAN! I've never re-booked our vacation this early, but I intend to do just that because the house is just fabulous! Thank you1

We had a wonderful time at the beach house and staying at the plantation! The house was very clean, spacious and beautiful; and the area was very quiet, peaceful, safe and such natural beauty! Very short walk to the beach through a unique, very natural beach path. My grandkids thought they were on a beach adventure path! The Forgotten Shores management staff were always very helpful, kind and quick to answer our questions. I would highly suggest Cotton Candy Beach House to anyone!

Didn’t expect to hike through the woods to the beach. Exterior stairs need some repairs. A rope to haul everything up the stairs would have come in handy.

We had a wonderful time at St George Island - this is our 5 visit to the Island and plan to continue to vacation here - we have stayed 4 times in the Plantation at Cotton Candy - the area is quiet and beautiful. The home is lovely and has everything we need. Have never had any problems and will continue to visit twice a year.

This was our first time to visit St. George Island and we will be back. The island was perfect for our whole family, children and grandchildren. We loved staying at Cotton Candy. It was clean, easy to find and only a short walk to the beach. This trip, we have little ones with us and we didn't want to be right on the beach. The wildlife was abundant. Jamie, the property manager was so gracious when we called with a couple of questions. Even though the island was busy, the beach was not crowded and the traffic was not bad. There only small grocery stores, but we could easily find all that we needed. Both Piggly Wiggly Express and Island Grocery had great meat selections. We had BJ Pizza twice. If you do want BJ Pizza on Saturday (when everyone is checking in) do know that you need to call them early in the afternoon to be able to get through. We have already started planning to come back next year. We would stay at Cotton Candy again.

Great place! Had an awesome time with awesome people. House was outstanding. Only issue was beach access- if you have a cart with a lot of stuff and a lot of kids it can be difficult getting up/down the stairs to the beach.

We rented Cotton Candy on short notice and the location and property worked very well for us. We have stayed at other St George properties in the past. The location and amenities of the plantation are hard to beat. Cotton Candy is well located with very good beach access from the path on the east side of the lot, It was plenty of house for two people and we used only the main living level. It is a very good value for the price and location.
We have no real complaints about the house that would prevent us from staying there again, but some updates would make the rental experience better. The mattresses could be refreshed and some window coverings in the living areas would improve privacy on the main level. There were no spices in the kitchen and a few items added to the kitchen would make dining in better as there is limited grocery shopping and dining on the island. Minimal commercial development on the island is one of its best features. We will definitely stay on the plantation again and in Cotton Candy if it is available.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cotton Candy rental. The home was well equipped, a short walk to the beach on a lovely nature-filled path, and we were able to relax and be secluded. We felt it was a great price for the week. It has a good amount of stairs so it's really not for people that have any mobility issues. There are a few upkeep items that need attention but no deal-breakers.

Lovely inside and out. My wife and I enjoyed the layout of the house, the amenities, and illumination throughout the house. We are making plans to return again.

Location was nice and a short walk to the Gulf, very private and secured which I liked. The little towns are very quaint. Furniture was worn and mattress uncomfortable shower stall so small I used tub upstairs. But for the price I guess it was okay. Renting is a learning experience for me so I know what to look for next time.

Jamie is great to work with and her preparation BEFORE we arrive almost eliminates any need for communication AFTER we get there! Thanks for a wonderful fishing week with my siblings and spouses. We had a great time. Cotton Candy was a short walk to the beach. The house was clean and well stocked. The area was quiet and very peaceful. We definitely plan on returning to St. George.

What a beautiful home! An easy walk to the beach and yet still having a private feel among the trees. The windows allowed for viewing of wildlife (we had an owl sitting in a tree for hours one day) and nice to hear the ocean from the deck. We had three couples of a family in the home and felt we still had our own areas for privacy. The wi-fi allowed for many of us to continue to work remotely without any problems. A perfect retreat for a beach vacation! We would rent the home again!!

Our stay at Cotton Candy exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a quiet, secluded vacation with our family and this property certainly delivered. The house was superbly decorated and the kitchen was well-quipped. The deck in the afternoon was my favorite place to be. Only a short walk to a stunning beach and pure bliss.

This Plantation home on ST George Island was a great choice for our family get away. The decorations were fun, had everything you needed, and the home was super clean (which is a big deal to me). The location was a short and lovely walk to the beach and offered plenty of amenities as a guest at the Plantation, such as two nice pools, tennis courts, bike trails and beautiful beaches. Plenty of privacy and safe for families with children because of the gated community. The Plantation is kept very nice and well manicured. Just a short drive to restaurants and where we could drop our boat to go fishing. Property manager Jamie was awesome! We will be back!

From home amenities to beach and pool access, this vacation was perfect and surpassed expectations!

Our family enjoyed our stay here. It was a much needed vacation with our family. We were blessed with great weather and great time playing in the water and walking the beach. Management Company was great to deal with and responded quickly to txt I sent. House was clean and comfortable. We all agreed that it was nice to be set back from the beach surrounded by local tree and plant growth. Thank you for opening up your lovely home for others to enjoy.

January 2018 thru March 2018 was a very pleasant winter spent in Cotton Candy.

This year, 2025, we had 5 "requirements" on our wish list for our monthly visit...beach-front, pet friendly, elevator, 4+ bedrooms, heated pool. Turtley Rad satisfied all of those wish-list items in full!
The view from the home of Sikes Cut is beautiful and very peaceful. The decks had plenty of chairs and tables for enjoying the outdoors and watching for dolphins!
The house was super clean and neat, and well stocked with the necessities. The kitchen had an ample supply of cookware, and a new double oven had been installed.
All floors had plenty of room to congregate for TV watching or for working puzzles or for playing card games; several of our group made very good use of the pool table on the ground level!
Beds were comfortable and clean.
The management company, Forgotten Shores, is a huge asset to this home. They were available at all times by phone, email or text, and were kind, courteous, personable and very, very helpful.
We will definitely reserve for another visit!

The house was well-stocked and laid out to enjoy for an extended family vacation. Room for everyone to eat and relax (two living areas and two large dining tables). Easy beach access and the elevator was key to my grandmother getting up and down between floors. Three total fridges, two dishwashers, and two sets of washers and dryers made this perfect for our group. Everyone talked about how nice and comfortable the house was. We immediately settled in.

Loved the location and the amount of guests this home could accommodate but it is a little tired and in need of some love! The bottom floor bunk room and pool room are not air conditioned and the top floor including a king bedroom and 2nd bunk room stay very warm all of the time. Fans in these rooms help but if you need to be cool at night you may find this miserable. Love the 2 large dining tables in the common area but all the chairs and stools are in need of attention - very worn and wobbly! Love the seating on the balconies and the location to Bob Sykes Cut. The kitchen appliances are all due to be replaced as well but pretty well stocked.

The home was everything we could have wanted for our family vacation. Plenty of space, two refrigerators, two dishwashers, two sets of washer/dryer, and two ice machines! Thoroughly enjoyed Turtley Rad.

This is our second year staying at Turtley Rad and it was another great year. The owners have made some really nice improvements since last year (new living room furniture, repaired the ice maker and second dishwasher). While it is definitely on the more secluded side of the island, we enjoyed watching the boat traffic through Sikes Cut, and the sunsets were beautiful. We saw countless dolphin through the week. The only reason we aren’t returning to this amazing house next year is because we need a smaller sized. If we ever need an 8 bedroom again, we’ll do our best to come back to this one!

The house was designed in a great way to meet the needs of a large family. Also if you like fishing this is the place to rent and the view of the cut with all the boats going in out was excellent.

First, the size of the house was perfect for our reunion of 16 adults and two small children. The view from the house is to die for. Wonderful covered porches to view the ocean. The beds were comfortable and the beddings were clean. However, there were a few issues: one of the double door in the main room was not functioning. The light in the main room was out so it was hard to see to do laundry there. The kitchen was disorganized in that it took some work to find things. The ovens were somewhat dirty and there was no oven mitts anywhere. The furniture were well worn. Despite those, our stay was wonderful. Forgotten Shores staff were helpful, friendly, and communicated consistently with updates as needed.

Many electrical outlets don't work (on all floors). One dishwasher doesn't work (this has been reported in many reviews). One washing machine works sporadically, one washing machine smells rancid (don't wash your clothes in it).

We have been taking family beach vacations for over 40 years and this ranks up as the best one every! Turtley Rad was a great layout for socializing with family or finding quiet time to relax. The kitchen is on the smaller size for a house that big, but we found it to be well equipped with all the pots, pans, serving bowls, dishes and silverware that we needed. The house is about a 20 minute drive from "downtown" but we don't go out to dinner so that was fine with us! The house is older, so it could use some TLC like fixing some cabinets in the kitchen and repairing the second dishwasher, but that didn't detract from our stay. The biggest inconvenience was no bathroom on the first floor for our son staying in that room...but he showered in the outdoor private shower and loved it and just used our bathroom as needed. We already booked our trip for 2024 and are looking forward to another great trip to St George Island!

The vacation home has a lovely view and decks were amazing. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and beach towels. As the weather wasn’t overly warm we enjoyed the heated pool. The staff at the rental company was amazing with answering all my questions and helping coordinate this last min rental. We saw numerous large sharks very close to the shore.
