This house was exactly what was described and more. The pictures don't really do it justice on how much room there really is in the house. The elevator is a life saver when bringing up or taking down bags or for people that have trouble with stairs. The walk to gulf and bay are maybe 5 minutes and not much more than 5 minute drive to stores and restaurants on the island. Will definitely look for this place again the next time we come.

Our stay on at George Island was the perfect getaway from our cold midwest winter. Forgotten Shores properties are always clean and well managed. Staff is friendly snd responds quickly to questions and concerns. We have been coming to their properties for several years and are extremely satisfied with their service.

We have been coming to St. George since I was little and this was one of my favorite stays !!!
5 o clock somewhere was always a fav house of ours and for this to house to be rebuilt and even better than before into Eventide it was just an incredible vibe!
The elevator when out the night before we got there and the rental company called me immediately and handled it beyond professional. (Now a days I will say exceptional customer service is slim to none but they went above and beyond ) They also compensated us appropriately for the situation and even offered a whole team to come load our luggage into the house. Blessed to be at this house was an understatement and I was unbelievably surprised at how loaded this homes kitchen was as well as the cleaning supplies included.
Thank you for blessing us with such an amazing place to have such a peaceful vacation !

I would ALWAYS recommend this house to stay at and it’s exceptionally accommodating for big groups even though we only had 5 with us it could sleep 12 easy!

We have stayed at Eventide three years in a row now. Our family enjoys the comfort of this home. It is always super clean. This year we noticed some really nice updates on the stairs, beds and Vizio TVs. Bring your passwords! The kids have their living room on the first floor and the adults enjoy the living room on the top floor. There's plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Boys play basketball at the hoop then jump in the pool.We always have a great time and hate to leave.

This house was very nice and large enough for our family. The elevator was so convenient when bringing in groceries and luggage. We loved the outdoor spaces -decks with plenty of seating. The pool was nice for cooling off. Short and easy walk to the beach. A gas grill would have been nice to have but we made it OK with the charcoal grill.

Home was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was particularly nice with all new appliances and well stocked. Location was convenient. The 3rd floor has a nice sitting area with lots of glass. The beach is only partially visible due to tall 3 story homes being built on the first row. This area is currently relatively quiet, but there seems to be a lot of development, which is unfortunate and does not fit in with the 'forgotten' coast theme.

This is the second time we have stayed at Eventide through Forgotten Shores, our eighth year vacationing on St. George Island. This house has a great layout for a family such as ours with parents, adult children and grandchildren. The house is very clean, well maintained. The elevator is great for carrying your luggage and supplies to your floor level. The pool area is a fun space for family time, and the beach is a very short walk away. The representatives at Forgotten Shores were very helpful with reservations and with information while we were there. Highly recommend the rental company and this house.

We are a family of six and we have stayed in many vacation homes in different areas so we can be critical but there were no complaints here! The house is fantastic!! It was clean and beautiful with a well stocked kitchen. It’s very spacious with two living areas and plenty of porch seating (where you can see glimpses of the ocean and hear the waves), and there is a basketball goal and private pool. There aren’t many restaurants on the island and the Piggly Wiggly express is the only thing close to a grocery store so we planned meals and shopped ahead. It’s a fairly short walk to the beach...across the road and down about two houses to the road that takes you to the beach path. If you take lots of gear to the beach or have small children I would take a wagon.

The owners of Forgotten Shores are an ABSOLUTE dream to work with. 5 STARS for this management team FOR SURE! This house is large with 4 generously sized bedrooms. Kitchens and bathrooms are large and well-appointed also. The two queen beds in one room on the 2nd floor is a very nice addition, as is the half bath on the 3rd floor. The balconies provide ocean views while the windows on the back of the house provide bay sites. Truly a WOW to have both the ocean and the bay visible with the twist of the neck! Pool is small, but all that you really need. There is also a small basketball area...just an FYI. The walk to the beach is easy and fast. Great location! Very thankful for the elevator. If pushed to give a negative on this property, I would say that the water on the 2nd level was not as hot as I would have liked it (we did not notify management or I'm certain they would have fixed it so this is on us) and the pool furniture could use freshening, but other than that, it was ideal!

Eventide was perfect for our group of 7. The location was fantastic - only a short walk to the beach or the bay. We loved the layout with the multiple living areas - everyone had plenty of room. We loved having the elevator to bring in luggage and groceries. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities we needed to prepare all our meals. We had a great trip!

Eventide is a wonderful house and in a great location! It was fully stocked with high grade pots and pans and other kitchen dishes. The layout of the home was wonderful with an open concept in the main living area. The pool was perfect and the beach was only a few minutes walk away. Jamie at Forgotten Shores was terrific the whole time. She responded to my many questions about the property ahead of our stay and she was extremely helpful when we had an issue with the master bedroom door. We will definitely choose Forgotten Shores when we plan our next SGI trip and hopefully Eventide will be available.

For starters, working with Jamie at Forgotten Shores was a pleasure! She was very responsive and always helpful with a smile on her voice. Eventide is a great home! Plenty of space to spread out, kitchen is well equipped with top of the line pots and pans and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was quite refreshing! Easy walk to the beach. The location is wonderful! It's on the east end and a lot less traffic. I highly recommend this home and I feel sure that we will be requesting to rent this home again next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed two shores. The house is clean and comfortable. We loved the big porch and the views on the water across the road in between the other homes. Easy rental process and everything worked out well. The beach was about a 5 minute leisurely stroll to feet in the sand. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Forgotten Shores Realty does a wonderful job with their properties with TWO SHORES being our choice when our 3 families get together after Christmas each year. The house is clean and well equipped and within an easy walk to the bay and also to the beach. It is a really good fit for our group of 5 adults,3 kids, and an 18 year old. I highly recommend to friends and relatives. There are steps involved which might be an issue for some.

We were fortunate to be able to stay a week at Two Shores and we loved it!! The layout is perfect - a large main area with a kitchen and living room and four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, off each corner. The balcony was the perfect place for our morning coffee and evening cocktail. It's a very short walk to the bay for fishing and paddle boarding and also a short walk to the beach, where we never had to fight for a space. The water was the perfect temperature, too.
We will hopefully be planning another trip back next year!

06/16-06/23/24 was a great vacation for our family. We love the location, with access to the beach and the bay. We made memories playing in the sand, watching the waves, and the cycles of the sun and beautiful strawberry moon.

Our 3rd time at Two Shores was again an awesome one. It is a good fit for our 3 families. Clean, good sleep, close to the beach access and a short distance to the Stare Park.

This is our second year at this lovely home. The layout is ideal for our family and the home is well stocked and very clean. The area is quiet and the walk to the beach is easy. The pool was clean and the grands enjoyed playing there as it was typically just them. The bay access is one of our favorite features as it provides another area to explore and enjoy. We had a very enjoyable time with our group of 10 people which included 4 very young grandchildren. First off, the staff of forgotten Shores could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The property was perfect for our needs. The three king rooms with king beds and showers were very comfortable and well appointed. The bunkbed room was loved by my four young grandchildren. The kitchen was extremely well stocked up, and the interior layout was both practical and spacious. The unit was very clean and well-maintained. All in all our stay exceeded our expectations and we plan on returning next year. what a great value!

The kitchen is well equipped and very functional. It does not have an elevator however once up the stairway, there is only one level. We like the fact that it does NOT allow pets as we have family members with allergies. FORGOTTON SHORES is an awesome property manager to work with. We have stayed in this house several times and will again this year. We take kayaks and enjoy them at the bay both at the house and at the State Park. Bocce ball on the beach is fun and of course beachcombing and relaxing. We mostly prepare our own meals but do enjoy dining at the BLUE PARROT.

I am in that category but just took it slow and let everyone else do all the work getting food and luggage secured upstairs. Forgotten Shores Properties was great to deal with and check in was a breeze. Jamie was so very accommodating and helpful in helping us find the right place for our family get together. I would definitely recommend Two Shores and Forgotten Shores Property Management Group.

We visited Two Shores with our family from California which included four adults and three teenagers. We enjoyed being able to each have our own spaces and still congregate on the deck or in the family room/kitchen area. We utilized both the bay side to kayak in the calmer waters and the gulf side to ride the waves and walk for miles on the beach.

The house is brand new, very clean, and just as advertised. There are even a few more seating areas on the deck and great reclining chairs for reading and napping! Being a newer home, there aren't a lot of items left-over from other renters, so you should plan on bringing things like olive oil, spices, soaps, shampoo, etc. Having rented many spaces, I think it's always nice to know what is on site and what you might not think to bring. They did have a few puzzles and games, but we were lucky with the weather and did not need to use most of them!

This was our second time staying on the island, and we tried a few new places like Weber Donuts, The Beach Pit (bbq), and made it across the bridges to Apalachicola for some shopping and walking. While I would still recommend stopping at a large grocery store on your way to the island, we found that the Piggly Wiggly in Apalachicola to be more stocked than the grocers on the island for your mid-week shopping needs. If you go further to St. Joe area, you sill find even more places to pick up groceries, etc.

We love this area and the ability to fade away into the sun and sand and would highly recommend staying at Two Shores for your visit. Jamie from Forgotten Shores was amazing and we will continue to rent from them in the future!

Wow, just wow! What a fantastic home with everything you could want in a beach/bay house. Loved being one of the first to get to stay here.

There was a last minute large miscommunication wrinkle in our rental situation and Forgotten Shores took ownership and ironed it all out swiftly, professionally, and compassionately. Jamie was wonderful to our whole family. She went above and beyond to ensure our long awaited-family reunion vacation wasn’t soured.

Two Shores is a BEAUTIFUL brand new space that provides a peaceful clean stay for you and your people. The great room and bedrooms are designed and decorated tastefully and were so comfortable for our big crew. The large front porch provided early morning coffee culture, with comfortable ample seating for all and great crawling space for my one year old twins (the material is so nice - marine grade? And didn’t cause splinters for alll the little feet in our house). In the evening the adults could sit on porch to catch up with one another comfortably too while the kids watched fun movies together inside.

The bay with boardwalk was a fun walk daily for sunset sighting.
And the easy walk across the street to the beach was rewarding with the soft white sand and blue green gulf waves.
We loved Two Shores and are so thankful for the memories we made last week. We will definitely rent from forgotten shores property again and would be happy to rent Two Shores again.

We have stayed in this home previously, and it was very clean upon check in, and well stocked with items to get started with. Unfortunately we only got to stay two nights due to hurricane Helen. This is a great place to stay, we hope to return soon.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days to celebrate our anniversary. The house is very well maintained and very clean. We lived that it was literally on the beach. Location was fantastic! It was on a quiet area of the beach, yet still very close to the bars, restaurants and shops. In fact we would be only a short 4 min walk on the beach from the Blue Parrot tiki bar, which we would go to daily. Try their “Sandblaster” frozen drink! Trust me you’ll thank me later! We even saw Dolphins daily while sitting on the sand or in the water right in front of our rental. We also saw sea turtles and a large Manta. It was truly a magical experience! St. George Island was rated the #1 beach in the U.S. and I definitely agree. The sand is like sugar and the water is clear with no rocks or seaweed. And you can walk out 50 yards and still be in only 4 or 5 feet of water. We absolutely love this place! In fact we have decided to make it an annual tradition for our Anniversaries.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible beach house for a week, and it was an absolutely perfect getaway! The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with stunning ocean views. We loved waking up to the sound of the waves and having direct access to the sandy shore just steps from the door.

The house itself was immaculate and exceptionally clean. It was clear that the hosts put a lot of thought into ensuring the home was well-maintained and welcoming. Every detail was considered, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-stocked kitchen that had everything we could have needed or wanted. Whether we were cooking a family meal, relaxing in the spacious living room, or enjoying a book on the deck, we felt right at home.

The amenities were top-notch as well. We appreciated the fast Wi-Fi, ample towels and linens, and the variety of beach gear available for our use. The house also had plenty of space for our entire group to spread out and enjoy ourselves.

One of our favorite parts of the stay was the breathtaking sunrises we watched every morning from the patio. It truly felt like a little slice of paradise. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and the lighthouse, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration.

Overall, this beach house exceeded all our expectations. It provided a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable beachside vacation!

A quick 4 day family vacation during a school fall break. Place was awesome! Great location, beautiful well stocked house!

We had a wonderful stay. The property was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to get started. The home also had everything we needed for the nights we cooked in, pots, pans, grills etc. We loved the beach front location, and really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and drinking coffee in the mornings watching the sunrise. We hope to stay again soon.
