A Dream To Sea

We loved our stay at A Dream to See, if I come back this is where I will stay. The only thing that sucked was the hurricane Debby, we had to evacuate for a night, then we returned the next day. This place was the best for our entire family, especially having a pool for the the littles.

We are a family of 13 adults that wanted a week of memories and fun before my grandkids start marrying and growing families of their own. This house was perfect for us! Everyone had plenty of space to spread out and plenty of space to come together for meals and games and fun and laughter! The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils and cookware and a lot of cooks in the kitchen. We could not get hot water in the kitchen at first but management came right out and as it turned out it was operator error. Management check on us frequently to make sure everything was going good and that we were enjoying our stay. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay with a large party.

This property has become our annual family vacation destination. It never disappoints. The house is ideal for our family and everyone feels at home there. The property is always in excellent condition and the location is perfect. The property manager is easy to work with and very responsive to any questions. We are already booked for next year!

Our family of 11 people (6 adults, 5 children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at a Dream to Sea. The house and beach were both beautiful. The elevator was a bonus for moving in and checking out. Every room and bedroom has a great view of the beach. And best of all the beach was not ever crowded. Grocery stores were within 15 miles and easy to get to.

Our family of 15 enjoyed our stay recently. House was as described and very comfortable for our needs. Location is great with easy beach access. This is our second year of SGI vacation and we look forward to returning next year! We did experience an issue with air conditioning on 2nd floor but maintenance was super prompt and helpful checking up on us multiple times through our stay. Highly satisfied with the property, reservation management, and maintenance attention.

The house is amazing and the view is spectacular! The kitchen is well equipped, beds are very comfortable and beach towels are included. The elevator is a huge bonus for getting luggage into the house. I highly recommend watching the sunrise and sunsets from any of the balconies! The girls at Forgotten Shores are very friendly, helpful and quick to respond.

Absolutely wonderful! The house was perfect. Everything was in very good condition. There was ample room for 13 of us. The open floor plan allowed everyone to interact as dinner was prepared. All bedrooms and baths were were clean, cozy and comfortable. The decks were perfect. The beach, outstanding.

Worked good for our family. No gas grill to cook out /had to use charcoal was a big negative!!!

Great location on a beautiful, quiet and uncrowded streach of beach. The home is spacious with a floorplan that was well suited for our extended family of 10 ranging in age from 72 to 12 years old. The large table in the dining area could seat the entire family as could the seating on the covered porch when dining outside was preferred - both overlooked the ocean. A short 5-minute drive to good restaurants, the lighthouse and ice cream shops. We're a repeat guest at A Dream to Sea and are already looking forward to coming back again.

Jamie was so wonderful to work with!! The house is beautiful, so many amenities, from a fully stocked kitchen to beach towels! I highly recommend renting this house and working with the very caring, considerate staff!

We rented “A Dream to Sea” for my husband’s retirement celebration for our family. It could not have been more perfect! The home had every amenity one could “dream “ of, the grandkids loved the bunk bed room, the adults loved their private quarters with en-suite bathrooms. The living area and kitchen were our favorite hangout spot when we weren’t at the ocean or poolside. The pool was sparkling clean and the kids loved it. We could not have had a more perfect spot to celebrate Jeff’s retirement!! The office and management at Forgotten Shores were great to work with and we have already booked a spot next February for the 2 of us . We will only work with Forgotten Shores to book all future visits to SGI !

This beautiful home accommodated our group of 3 couples and 3 teenagers very comfortably. Each of the 5 bedrooms has a private bath and the huge master suite on the 4th floor is very luxurious. Beach access is easy and thanks to the glass deck walls the view is great! We also enjoyed the small pool and spacious pool deck. We needed repairs twice and maintenance corrected the problems the day we called each time. The only negative is the elevator does not go to the 4th floor, but we were able to manage the one flight of stairs okay.

Property as described. The interior was clean. A few maintenance issues: towel holder in the upstairs bath was hanging out of the wall, door striping on sliding doors in the upstairs bedroom was detached, the microwave was glitchy, and all of the chairs poolside were broken. Property management was quick to have the microwave fixed; the chairs poolside were not replaced during our stay. The pool was great but stayed full of debris from the palm trees. It was nice to have some shade but not worth the dirty pool. The pool was only cleaned twice during our stay. For the last two days, my children wouldn't swim due to debris at the bottom (debris from palm trees and dead caterpillars). I would recommend either having the pool cleaned daily or providing instructions for renters to backwash as needed; that was our biggest disappointment. Otherwise, the house was amazing and the location was perfect! I would recommend the property to friends and family.

There is plenty of room for 15 people to spread out and have space if you need it!!! This house was fabulous. The Views from every room was breathtaking. Hard to find a house with a view of the ocean from every bedroom and a balcony. Jamie was wonderful and attended promptly to the few issues that we had. Very accomodating to our Family of 12.

We loved every minute of our vacation...only went too fast! We have rented multiple homes at SGI for 20+ years and this was, by far, our favorite! The owners have added so much to this home and have thoughtfully equipped it with many extras, beautiful indoor and outdoor furnishings, and anything you could think of in the kitchen! Location and views were better than we could have expected!

We went for a family function in the area. House was perfect for what we needed it for. The property manager service was excellent as well. Easy checking check out as well.

Property is gorgeous and location is amazing!The host is the best very communicative and always making sure everything is perfect . This is the second time we stay here and we will definately stay again.

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was perfect for the multiple generations. Happily we were ensconced on the top floor and couldn’t even hear the late night poker games etc. going on below. The beach was beautiful and we especially loved the porches. The house was well equipped, clean. Great week!

Spacious inside and out with plenty of balcony seating on the main levels for enjoying the ocean view while eating outdoors (large indoor table in dining room as well). Balconies on other levels had very comfortable seating and fantastic views also. Beach is great and just a few steps away from the grassed lawn. Elevator is a big plus - especially when moving in and out or after grocery shopping. Great restaurants with carryout available and just a 5 minute drive away. Great dealing with the property manager/management company throughout the reservation process and stay. An all around great choice for our stay.

Was our first trip to St. George Island, and we all really loved it. The house was fantastic. Kitchen was well stocked for eating in. The house was in great shape, and has amazing views and easy access to the beach. Jamie with Forgotten Shores was great - very responsive and easy to work with. We hope to do this trip again!

This is a beautiful clean house.

We truly enjoyed the house and loved the fully stocked kitchen. The layout of the bedrooms is perfect, and we loved the expansive balcony on the main level.

Wonderful experience as always when we have stayed at A Dream to Sea. Perfect size home for our 12 person family and great location.

wonderful not crowded location and beautiful hose

We had a great stay at A Dream to Sea. We had two families with 5 people each, 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from age 2 to 9. The house was perfect and could comfortably fit another family as long as kids don't mind sharing beds (which most don't!!). We were very pleased with the property overall. When we first pulled up, we thought it looked a little more "run down" than in pictures (still looked nice, just a little aged), but I also know from having grown up near the beach how quickly and often things need a good power wash and paint. Any initial misgivings quickly subsided. The interior was very clean and comfortable. All of the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice and clean, and the kitchen and living areas were plenty big enough for us to gather (though we spent most of our time outside). The best part BY FAR is the view and large beachfront decks. The glass railings really do make a difference in the views both from inside the house and outside. We would love to go back and stay in this home again! Definitely recommend for a beachfront option for a large family or several families. Also, Jamie is the best and Forgotten Shores is our favorite company to rent with in SGI.

We have rented numerous high-end beach homes over the years but A Dream to Sea tops them all when it comes to having everything you need to enjoy your vacation to the fullest. Not only did the owner spare no expense when building and furnishing this luxurious beachfront home but they equipped their kitchen with all the essential cooking tools to include a spice cabinet loaded with a variety of herbs, spices and cooking oils all for your culinary needs.

Moreover, the home is supplied with tin foil, food storage bags, extra trash bags and toilet paper and every cleaning product (including laundry and dish washer detergent) that you can think of to help cut down on what you need to bring or purchase while on the island. There is also an outdoor storage closet that includes beach chairs, sand toys, pool toys and fish nets.

Not to be outmatched by this beautiful home, the rental manager is first-rate, hands-on and very responsive to inquiries even on her day off (sorry Jamie). Thankfully, and because this home is so well-maintained, we never had a service issue come up which is a testament to the personal interest the owner and the rental agency have for their clientele.

We would not hesitate to rent this home again.

The house was great. Very spacious and very well stocked. We are used to having to bring everything we need for cooking but it was a nice surprise to find spices and other cooking staples. When we did have an issue, Jamie was right on top of it and John ( maintenance ) was there to the rescue!
