This house was so cute and beachy. We loved our stay. It was clean and the booking was easy and they have been extremely helpful to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Highly Recommend!

We book this property every summer. It’s perfect for my family of 5. The path to the beach is literally across the street. Very clean and outfitted with everything you need.

This was our second year renting Island Sand Dollar. We enjoyed our trip very much. The close proximity to the beach is a true plus. The house was very clean and family friendly. Looking ng forward to next year! Any questions asked were immediately answered.

Great stay

First time in SGI. We picked a great place. No complaints. Excellent home for 2 or 4 adults or 4 adults with 2 kids. Quick and easy beach access. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place to stay. Clean and tastefully decorated. Would definitely recommend and come back again. Island was wonderful. Not to crowded with great food and things to do. I recommend renting a golf cart to drive around the island.

We had a fantastic stay at the Island Sand Dollar. It was well appointed, very comfortable for the 4 of us and was just as the photos were presented. You cannot beat the location, with just a short walk to the beach. Communication was excellent. Thank you for sharing this cute cottage. We look forward to another stay.

Wonderful

This was our first time to rent with Forgotten Shores and we had a wonderful experience. Island Sand Dollar was a great choice for us. It's a smaller house with a bright, cheery and homey feel with everything we needed. Access to the beach is right across the drive. We would love to come back and extend our stay for a month next time.

The house it’s self was very nice.. loved the location. When we walked in it smelled that sausage had just been cooked the refrigerator and freezer had a extremely strong smell of fish and we couldn’t use the ice because it smelled of fish after emptying it for days. There was trash behind the couch water bottles and a spit bottle in the room with the bunk beds on the floor next to the lamp, small bugs and ants in the kitchen a hair clip still clipped in the master shower to the curtain and a bag of dirty towels under the steps. I don’t know if the guest before us checked out late and put the cleaners in a rush. So we cleaned (not behind the couch)and put more baking soda in the freezer and we had a great time and stay. Thank you for your offering to do a vanilla wipe on the fridge I probably should have taken you up on it but didn’t want to be a bother. It’s a great home and location that we enjoyed very much! Thank you ❤️

Loved this house! Best decor of any beach house I have rented. Very clean. Beds were comfortable, extra lounge area downstairs was amazing but I want to suggest a string of outdoor lights would help, it is hidden back enough by shrubs it won’t effect the turtles. Also not having Tupperware was annoying. It is not stocked with simple things -no coffee filters, no extra toilet paper (they said that in the contract), no beach towels or beach toys for the kids-so just know it’s scaled back on basic things more than any rental I have stayed in so be prepared to buy everything you need or bring it. This being said it is a great house and I would stay there again!

Absolutely loved this house easy beach access and close to the center of st george island would stay again for sure !

As 1st time visitors to SGI, and 1st time guests on VRBO, we took the due diligence to ask essential questions about daily needs like wifi and hot water. While this place is beautifully located, it is by no means equipped to handle 5, let alone 9, guests. After 2 showers there was no hot water and with only the bare minimum of devices connected, the wifi could barely load cartoons for our toddler. Recommend this place for proximity to the ocean, but "sleeps 9" is about all that 9 people can do here.

For $375/night on a Tuesday, basic essentials should not only be included but functional!

Property management company responded quickly to all our questions and concerns. We rented with our pet dog. Now see listing with "no pets". Woundering what changed? Great access to beach. Confratable and clean. Would be nice to see master bedroom toilet updated with comfort high elongated toilet. If you are 4 ft 10in tall,the existing toilet would work fine for you! :-)

We were so pleased that house was exactly as pictured on listing. Beautiful view from from the deck, and gate is a nice touch for the dogs. Loved that it was so close to the beach.Property manager was very responsive when issue with internet after a storm.
We had everything we needed for our stay. Would suggest providing more towels, and maybe an update to master bath, but overall a fantastic property. Definitely recommend and will stay again!

Very smooth process and handled very professional. Impressed with the communication and updates. Home was just as shown in photos and the place was very clean.

Perfect for our small family, very comfortable and in a great location! Just an FYI Coffee maker pot needs to be replaced ~ has a crack in it. Felt very clean. Has everything you need for cooking and entertaining.

Weather and Red Tide made this trip a little less than past experiences. The new deck had some loose boards/wood fillers and the house still needs some work. Up- Dating the fridge which had a leak and the clothes dryer which is rusted inside and on top making it hard to get clothes dry without getting rust on them. Over all house was in good order.

Location was perfect, easy walk to the beach. Enjoyed time in the hammock under the house when it was raining and looking at the view from the front porch when it was dry. Even going through tropical storm Fred we still managed to relax.

Just a few steps from the beach and great house. Would come back in a minute!

We really enjoyed staying at Island Sand Dollar! The location was great just a few steps from the sand! The kitchen was well stocked and we had no complaints on the beds! The deck had a gate which was great for the dog, she loved watching people go by! We would definitely stay here again!

The Island Sand Dollar was clean, in a convenient location and right across the street from the beach! We picked this rental because it was pet friendly and because of the location. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, listening to and watching the waves - the beach is right across the street. There is a path across the street with convenient beach access. We also took advantage of the beach gear credit and rented bikes. The bikes were a great thing to have - it was only about a 10 minute bike ride into town where all of the restaurants are located. Overall we had a great stay and would stay at this rental again.

This beach house has a perfect location and is the perfect size for a family as well as their pets! Very open floor plan, and super convenient to the beach made this perfect for my wife and I and our dog!

Sometimes “pet friendly” means run down and dirty - not here! Very clean, updated and comfortable. Couches, beds and pillows all comfy. Plenty of (matching!) dishes, silverware, pots/pans. The gate on the deck was perfect to keep our precious babies penned in but still able to check out passers by. You can see and hear the ocean from the Adirondack chairs on the deck and a path to the beach is across the street. Ate seafood daily from Island View seafood just across the bridge-pink shrimp, clams, oysters, grouper - so good and super friendly people there! We loved our stay!

I desperately needed a break from humans and Covid and St George Island was my best chance at peace and quiet. The house was perfect, very clean and well appointed. I finally found a place with perfect pillows A+. The location was excellent just across from the beach. The house was great for what I needed, peace and quiet away from the centre of the island so no bustling of people. If I can I will return.

We loved our stay here so much, we are now looking to buy something similar on the island. It was just what we needed.

Fabulous property, seconds from the beach down a sandy beach access path straight across from the property. Well maintained and equipped beach home. Area underneath home is perfect to escape the sun or rainy afternoon, relaxing in the hammock. Fully stocked kitchen, didn’t find anything missing! Comfortable king size bed in master. Just loved it! I always use Forgotten Shores for our stay on SGI, can’t fault Jamie and her team.

We stayed for just short of two weeks and loved every minute. The place was spotless and smelled so clean when we first walked in. The kitchen is fully stocked. It's the perfect size for my family. The beach is literally across the street and takes about 30 seconds to get there. My family is going to try and make this a yearly vacation. The management company made sure we had everything we needed and were awesome too! Would recommend to everyone!

We’ve never been to St George island so we rented this house for just short of two weeks. We walked in and it was spotless and smelled very clean. It’s right across the street from the beach and takes not even a minute to get there. The management company was awesome and wanted to make sure we didn’t need anything. The house has a fully stocked kitchen and more than enough room for my family. We are planning to make this an annual trip. Would recommend to everyone.

When we arrived, the house was beyond clean! That was a great feeling when we walked in and started off our vacation on a great note. The house is the perfect size for the four of us. It had everything you need to make meals. Really appreciated the washer and dryer during the week. The best part was how close to the beach it is. Such a quick walk so when you forget something you can quickly go back and get it! We are planning on making this an annual vacation! Would recommend this house to everyone!

We've stayed at this property 4 times over the past 5 years and have always been pleased. This most recent trip the furniture had been replaced and it wasn't in bad condition on our last trip so the owners are continuing to keep it up. The rental company was on top of a minor maintenance item without having to call and most importantly it was very clean during the pandemic. If i were to be super picky, the shower doesn't have much water pressure, but I can live with that for a week at the beach :-) The AC works great and home is well stocked for cooking for my family of 6. The outdoor shower and hose do a great job of keeping the sand off us and our pup and not in the house.

Love this property. The home is the perfect size for my family, and the proximity to the beach is perfect. The beds are so comfortable, the kitchen is stocked as needed, and the location on the island is quiet and tranquil.

We found this property in excellent condition and in spite of it not being directly on the beach, it was just as convenient. It was perfect for our needs and we've been to the island on several occasions. Highly recommend this beautiful rental.
